K-12 Classroom Visits
Let’s Go to Space has a team of 20+ volunteers all with STEM or education backgrounds. We partner with universities, NASA centers, and aerospace companies to make sure that volunteers are able to reach schools anywhere in Georgia and beyond! All of our curriculum is specifically designed to be engaging, inspiring, and confidence building for all ages – expanding on the requirements set by the Georgia Standards of Excellence for education! After-School Programs
Don’t worry if class-time is tight, LG2S also loves to work with students after school! We send mentors to extracurriculars like FIRST Robotics and Boys and Girls Clubs meetings! If your school doesn’t host something like the programs mentioned above, we can also host independent events at your school with your help! We have a wide range of activities to choose from as well: satellite tracking antennas, solar astronomy, night-time astronomy, LEGO robotics, coding, and Earth science activities among others!
